This Privacy Policy explains how McRae Expert Services, LLC ("PreserveWell," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PreserveWell website, app, and services. By using PreserveWell, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you create an account or buy a membership, we collect your name, email address, and account login details. When you contact us, we keep your messages.
Payment information. Your payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe collects and handles your card details directly. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive limited billing information, such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card.
Information you create in the app. When you use PreserveWell, we collect the activity you generate, such as the produce you rescue, your saved items, and your savings totals, so we can provide the service and show your impact.
Information collected automatically. Like most online services, we automatically collect basic technical information such as your device type, browser, general location, and how you use the service. This helps us keep the service working and improve it.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account and membership
- Process your payments and renewals through Stripe
- Provide, personalize, and improve the service
- Send you service and account emails, such as welcome, receipt, renewal, and support messages
- Send you marketing emails about PreserveWell, which you can opt out of at any time
- Respond to your questions and provide support
- Keep the service secure and prevent misuse
- Meet our legal obligations
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run PreserveWell:
- Service providers that operate the platform on our behalf, including Stripe (payments), GoHighLevel (email and customer communication), and Base44 (the platform that powers our app and website). These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us.
- Legal reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of PreserveWell, our members, or others.
- Business transfers. If PreserveWell is sold, merged, or transfers its assets to another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will take reasonable steps to notify members of any such change.
4. Email and marketing choices
We send two kinds of email. Service emails, such as receipts, renewal reminders, and account notices, are part of your membership. Marketing emails are optional, and every one includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential service emails.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you disable them.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and we rely on trusted providers such as Stripe for payment security. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information.
8. Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account information at any time, or ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing info@preservewell.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. We will honor those rights as required by applicable law.
9. Children
PreserveWell is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated.
